Dr Azri graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2013. He migrated to Singapore in the same year and started his medical career here. He spent 9 years practising within public healthcare institutions including Changi General Hospital, Singapore General Hospital, Alexandra Hospital, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, and Jurong Acute Community Hospital gaining experience in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Post Acute and Continuing Care.
He was actively involved in teaching medical students during his time within public healthcare institutions and was awarded NUS Junior Doctor Teaching Award for Academic Year 2015 / 2016.
He believes strongly in holistic and patient-centred care as well as having a good relationship and clear communication with patients. Receiving the Individual Gold Award from AIC Community Care Excellence Award in 2020 is a testament to his dedication to patient care.
Dr Azri has been accredited under the PaedsENGAGE program conducted by KKWCH and NUH to manage non-emergency paediatric cases in the community. He is also a MOH-accredited severe disability assessor.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, singing, Formula 1, and sim racing.
